Risks of Secondhand Smoke For Your Pets

Secondhand smoke is harmful for pets just like it is for people. We all know how dangerous secondhand smoke can be to people. Pets not only inhale the smoke, they also ingest tar, smoke and carcinogens from cleaning their fur. Health risks for pets may include respiratory problems (like asthma) and cancers (oral or nasal carcinomas). Please do all you can to protect your pets because secondhand smoke kills. Open windows for fresh air and wipe their fur down daily to minimize the damaging effects on pets.
