Today we would like to honor our K9 heros. March 13th, is National K9 Veterans Day, a day that is designated to honor and commemorate the service and sacrifices of American military and working dogs throughout history. March 13, 1942 was the first day that the army began the War Dog Program (aka: K-9 Corps) where dogs were officially trained as part of the U.S. Armed Forces.
