Holistic Care Helps Rescue Kitties Feel Better

Ask Ariel products are a staple in our house of 4 rescues.  All of our girls take Power Probiotic as part and parcel of what they eat on a daily basis - I can't imagine them not taking it. Their coats are shiny, their eyes are bright, their stools are well formed and they are all at healthy weights.

Ellie, our 8-year-old, was diagnosed earlier this year with kidney values on the high side.  I immediately reached out to Ask Ariel for help and put her on Kidney Health, Purrfect Pet Co Q-10 and Renelix.  I was extremely pleased to see at Ellie's 6 month blood recheck her creatinine levels started to drop!

Raven, our 7-year-old, has some urinary issues, so she takes LypoZyme as well as Renelix.

It's reassuring to know all of our girls - even our 2-year-olds, Flower and Lilly, benefit from a holistic approach to their care.

As long as Ask Ariel offers products, our family will be customers! Thank you for helping our family stay healthy!  Debbie, California

Can Your Pet Benefit From Both Probiotics and Enzymes?

Digestive enzymes and probiotics are both important for maintaining a healthy digestive system in pets, and using them together can provide synergistic benefits.

Digestive enzymes help break down food into smaller molecules that can be absorbed and used by the body, but they do not provide any new beneficial bacteria for the gut.

Probiotics, on the other hand, contain live beneficial bacteria that can help improve the balance of the gut microbiome which can improve digestion, reduce inflammation, and support the immune system. They can be especially helpful for pets with digestive disorders like inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), diarrhea, or constipation. However, probiotics do not necessarily help with the breakdown of food. Using both digestive enzymes and probiotics together can provide a more comprehensive approach to support your pet's digestive health.

Does Your Pet Have Digestive Issues"?

You may have heard about digestive enzymes and wondered why you would use them. Enzymes are biological catalysts that are vital for thousands of important functions in the body. Your pet thrives on fresh ingredients rich in enzymes.

Unfortunately, most pet foods are overprocessed, and some pets may have difficulty digesting them. Overprocessing can destroy digestive enzymes that were present in the original ingredients.
Supplementing with natural digestive enzymes can help your dog or cat with:
Improved Digestion: Digestive enzymes help break down food into smaller, more easily digestible components. This process aids in the absorption of essential nutrients, such as proteins, carbohydrates, and fats. This can lead to improved digestion and nutrient uptake, supporting better overall health and well-being.
Reduced Digestive Issues: Pets with digestive issues, such as diarrhea, vomiting, or constipation, may benefit from digestive enzyme supplements. These enzymes can help improve the digestion of food and reduce the strain on the digestive system, leading to fewer digestive issues and more comfortable digestion.
Better Nutrient Absorption: Digestive enzymes can help pets extract more nutrients from their food. This is particularly important for pets with conditions that affect their ability to absorb nutrients, such as PLE, Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) or Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
Improved Immune Function: A healthy digestive system is essential for a strong immune system. By improving the digestion and absorption of essential nutrients, digestive enzymes can help support immune function and reduce the risk of illness.
Increased Energy: Improved digestion and nutrient absorption can lead to increased energy levels, better mood, and overall improved quality of life.

Best Probiotic For Pets

Dexter
A healthy balance of gut bacteria is vital to the welfare of your pet.  For cats and dogs, the digestive tract is the most important (and largest) immune organ in their body.  A proper ratio of good-to-bad bacteria is essential to insure their immune system is working properly.  If the good bacteria balance is upset, it can result in a multitude of digestive disorders, which if left untreated, could lead to a more serious illness.

The fine balance of good-to bad bacteria can be effected by both physical and emotional stressors. Physical stressors can include; poor diet, illness and/or medications such as steroids and antibiotics, or chronic digestive issues (such as Inflammatory Bowel Disease). Emotional stressors can be anything that upsets the normal routine or your cat (travel or change in living situations).

Power Probiotics for Pets is a multi-strain formula, 3rd party tested for purity and is guaranteed to survive your pet's stomach acid.  The friendly bacteria organisms in this product will help correct any bacterial imbalance and help healthy cells to thrive in the gastrointestinal tract. It can help with improving digestion and detoxification. It can also help your pet fight infections, with overall immune system support.

Here's what Dexter's Mom had to say about the Power Probiotic:

“I want to thank you for the Power Probiotic. This product is amazing! Dexter (my black 6-month old Toy Poodle) slept awesome last night! Better than he has in weeks! I forgot to give him his usual Probiotic pill at 10pm last night. Well, he got up and walked around a little at 2:45am and seemed a little uncomfortable, so I got up and gave him a 1/2 capsule of Power Probiotic and we went back to bed and I didn't hear a peep out of him until 7:00am. No stomach gurgling, no burping, no nasal congestion, no incessant scratching, no more pacing the floor...Yay! This was the 4th night of Power Probiotic, so I really think they are helping. Thank you so much for creating this product and for really caring about our babies!!”
