Only 14% Of Lost Pets Without Microchips Ever Find Their Families


Everyday lost pets wind up in shelters and many lack identification, resulting in as few as 14% returning to their family. However, if the pet is “microchipped”,  an animal control officer can scan the “grain of rice” size device (which has been placed under the skin) in a matter of seconds and identify the pet’s owner, allowing for a happy reunion.
