Sophie Pedeflous, therapy dog, visited Steve, a patient in a skilled nursing facility who is recovering from major surgery which led to many weeks of coma. He has been away from home for over 6 months and is undergoing rigorous physical therapy to build his strength and to walk again. Steve misses his own furry animals at home! Sophie was a welcome and comforting visitor.
