Keep Pet Food Inside and Prevent Mold

Important Pet Food Storage Tip-If you use dry pet food, storage of the food can impact the freshness and overall health benefits to your pet. Please store the food inside your house in a cool, dry area. If you store the food outside (even in a garage), the food can attract moisture and develop mold and bacteria that might not be readily visible. Dry food left in the garage also attracts unwanted critters such as rodents. Inside, keep the food in the original bag with a secure closure or if you prefer to transfer into a separate tub, please be sure to keep the lid tightly closed.
