You might have heard from your veterinarian that your aging pet's blood liver levels are elevated but didn't know if there was anything that could help. Well---now there is!

Liver Rescue, along with OxiCell and Vitamineral Green can all work synergestically together to improve your pet's liver function.

A healthy liver is the key to good health. Liver problems are common and in today's world with so many preservatives, chemicals and artificial ingredients, the liver has to work harder than ever. The liver has everything to do with your pet's longevity and quality of life---it is a vital organ. The liver is the filter of all the toxins, preservatives and chemicals to which your body is exposed. Over time, with age, the toxins accumulate (just like the pipes in your home). The liver operates less efficiently and toxins are dumped into the bile which often then get rerouted into the bloodstream. It is very important then to cleanse and detoxify the liver.

Pet Liver Rescue Ingredients (2 capsules):

Milk Thistle 600mg

Dandelion Root Extract 200mg

Wasabi Japonica 100mg

Picrorhiza Kurroa 100mg

-Milk Thistle
Milk thistle nutritionally supports the liver's ability to maintain normal liver function. It has shown positive effects in treating nearly every known form of liver disease, including cirrhosis, hepatitis, necroses, and liver damage due to drug and alcohol abuse. Milk thistle works due to its ability to inhibit the factors responsible for liver damage, coupled with the fact it stimulates production of new liver cells to replace old damaged ones.
Milk Thistle has certain chemicals that bind and coat liver cells. These phyto-chemicals not only heal previous liver damage, but also protect the liver from future damage. Milk Thistle is a powerful antioxidant and increases superoxide dismutase (S.O.D.) levels that nutritionally supports liver function and regeneration, and helps protect the skin.
Milk thistle has been proven to protect the liver from damage. The detrimental effects of environmental toxins, alcohol, drugs and chemotherapy may be countered with this valuable herb. The active chemical component in the herb is silybin, which functions as an antioxidant and is one of the most potent liver protective agents known. Clinical trials have proven silybin to be effective in treating chronic liver diseases and in protecting the liver from toxic chemicals.

-Dandelion
A classic bitter herb, supports the formation of bile which detoxifies the liver. Dandelion supports liver function as a blood purifier. It is an excellent blood cleanser and is most effective on the liver, kidneys, and skin. It gradually restores tone to the entire digestive tract, without causing laxative dependence.
Dandelion is one of the strongest cholagogues and choleretics known. Its ability to promote the flow of bile is unequaled among the common herbs. It raises the secretion of bile by over 50%. It is used specifically to promote the health of the liver and related organs and glands. Research indicates that it aids recovery from many kinds of liver disease, including hepatitis, liver congestion, gallstones, and liver insufficiency.

-Picrorhiza Kurroa
The herb originated in and continues to grow primarily in the Himalayan mountains. The rhizomes or underground stems of picrorhiza are used. Picrorhiza's most important use may be in the support of liver health. Scientists think picrorhiza may benefit the liver in four ways. First, studies suggest that it may actually be able to stimulate the growth and regeneration of damaged liver tissues. Next, picrorhiza may be able to protect the liver from viral hepatitis infection and potentially toxic agents like alcohol and acetaminophen (ie. an overdose of Tylenol). Picrorhiza may exert anti-inflammatory effects on the liver as well. And finally, it may function as an antioxidant in the liver by limiting free radical oxidation of liver tissues.

-Wasabi Extract
The Japanese traditionally consume this rhizome as a condiment with sushi, but they also use it to enhance the liver’s detoxification process. Wasabi rhizomes contain substances that are very effective in detoxifying you liver, and that are also very strong antioxidants that provide you with good overall health benefits in their capacity to destroy the free radicals created by the pollution of modern living. With strong anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, Wasabi helps mitigate microbial elements or pathogens, which might be present in the liver.
